Today wasn't the most exciting day we've had. It involved a lot of walking on often busy roads - the Via Rhona cycle path is not yet completed on some of the route we took.

We largely followed the course of the Rhône south from Villebois. We walked along the main road for a few kilometres, then found a succession of smaller roads to take us to Le Port-de-Groslée. We had our lunch stop there before joining the Via Rhona south to Évieux.

At Évieux we crossed over the river, and, as the cycle way no longer went the way we were going, continued on the roads.

Apart from a brief short cut cross-country, we stayed on the roads until we arrived in our accommodation in Aoste.
